Affiliated with CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Rehabilitation Hospital since 1994, Therapet is a volunteer organization using animals in therapeutic settings to promote health, hope and healing. Trained animals are used by therapists in goal directed treatment sessions, as a tool to achieve the best patient outcomes including better physical, social and cognitive performance. Stroke Support Group
CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Rehabilitation Hospital has played an integral part in the formation and growth of the Community Stroke Support Group. Formed in 2002, the group has grown to more than 40 members, consisting of stroke survivors and caregivers, healthcare professionals and guests to exchange ideas, experiences and information for the purpose of extending and enriching lives.
